Montepulciano

The nice town of Monteluciano, famous for its well known wines, is just 15 km away from “Agriturismo Querciagossa”. It lies on a hill and has remarkable buildings and a suggestive atmosphere. You should pay a visit to the Palazzo Comunale, Cervini palace and the old church of San Biagio. The great poet Poliziano was born here.
At just 5 km from the Agriturismo, the DOC Cortona wine zone finished and the famous DOCG one of the wine called “Nobile di Montepulciano” starts. From this land comes one of the best wines of Tuscany and Italy which the poet Redi defined “the king of wines”:
