The
Apartment |
 |
The
apartment is located in the ancient patrician Palazzo Cerulli-Diligenti,
dating back to the early 1600s and built on the remains of a roman
amphitheatre which was, in its turn, erected on the former site
of an etruscan well, still to be seen and visited under the foundations
of the building. The small, carefully restored and extremely tastefully
furnished apartment, perfect for two people, looks out on the building's
charming private courtyard, available for the guests. The apartment
is named after an "alcova" (engl. Boudoir) (a bedroom
shrouded with curtains and veilings) still to be found in a wing
of the very same building.
